Who am I?
“Francisco Gomez” is a pretty common name … trust me … sometimes it leads to lots of confusion. Google it, and you’ll see that it would be an understatement to say that “we come in 6-packs” . You’ll find photographers, physicians, soccer players, truck drivers, and lots of others. I’m none of those. I’m the geologist.
Most (but not all) people know me by the informal “Paco”.
For my regular, day-to-day job, I am a professor at the University of Missouri (MU) in the Department of Geological Sciences — click here for my MU faculty web page. If you want to contact me, it’s probably easiest through there.
I am also a Registered Geologist licensed for professional practice in the State of Missouri — those activities are independent of MU.
Through this private website, I’ll post some information related to geoscience practice and education, an maybe a few other things.
